Rehearsal for Monday, February 23, 2015 is at Braddock Street UMC in Winchester
For nearly 50 years, the Front Royal Oratorio Society has brought fine choral music to the Northern Shenandoah Valley region. The dedicated members of the choir have presented concerts offering a wide variety of excellent music by Bach, Handel, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Vivaldi and Rutter as well as medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, contemporary and traditional American selections.
The Society is comprised of volunteer members and audiences from a wide age range – young adults (high school & college) through seniors, representing all races and creeds. The music is intended to provide greater understanding of the composers and works which comprise the wealth of choral music. Under the direction of George Amos, the performers gain a greater knowledge of musical styles and vocal production.
